Nketiah sees Red

Well Nketiah has been celebrated since coming into the Arsenal team, he had a rush of blood to the head against Leicester. Arsenal were playing well in the lead, when Nketiah lunged in on James Justin.

As I said Arsenal were in control of the game, after Aubameyang gave them the lead, 20 minutes in. Great work from Saka, and an easy finish for the Gabon International.

Nketiah’s red card was the differnece maker. Arsenal started to retreat, and Leicester attacked. Who else would equalise but Jamie Vardy. It was looked at by VAR, but he was deemed onside. It finished 1-1, a good point for the foxes.

Late strike picks up point

Cracker at Selhurst Park

What a game between Crytstal Palace and Chelsea. It looked as though it would be an easy Chelsea win, when Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic, gave them the lead after 27 minutes.

Step up Wilf Zaha, an unbelievable strike which left Kepa with no chance, in the Chelsea goal. From this point on, Palace dominated. Chelsea had chances on the break but Palace were great.

On came Tammy Abraham, and on 71 minutes he made it 3-1 Chelsea. Not for long, A great move led to Benteke pulling a goal back. Chelsea were holding on, in injury time, Scott Dann headed against the post. Chelsea hung on to a 3-2 win. A great game.

Both teams entertained us last night

Watford pick up vital win

Well we had another good game, at Carrow Road. Two teams battling to stay in the premier league. Norwich hosted Watford. It was a good start for the canaries, a goal for Buendia after just 3 minutes.

Not long after Watford equalised. A corner for the hornets, led to Craig Dawson heading in. Watford would have to wait till the 2nd half, to get the winner. An overhead kick from Danny Wellbeck, got them in front.

Watford held on, and have pulled themselves 4 points away from relegation. For Norwich anything other than a win on the weekend, and they are relegated. The writing has been on the wall, for a long time.

Great finish gives Watford space

And finally…..

A few good games of football last night, as we move towards the end of the season. Still all to play for, in regards to the Champions League, as well as relegation. Fantastic football.

Not over yet!
